The top summer movies in 2008 that is worth spending your hard earned money to go watch. So far are the following (Based on the week 7/21):

1. Iron Man - This action packed comic movie has one of the best scripts and acting since the first Spiderman.


2. Wanted - Mix Matrix and Fight Club and you get Wanted. Haven't seen action and special effects like this since those two movies.


3. Batman Dark Knight - Joker A+, Two-Face A, Batman C (I am sorry I just hate that batman voice check out yahoo's article of others having the same sentiment: here), Bruce Wayne A. Get a new Batman or bring back Michael Keaton. Does anyone else feel like whenever Batman is on screen you want to scene to hurry up to see Joker again?


4. Hancock - A surprise twist and direction sets this movie apart from other comic book hero movies.


5. Kung Fu Panda - Computer graphics in this movie shows you how far we come in computer animation. Story is also excellent, especially for people that are Chinese, a must see.


6. Incredible Hulk - Edward Norton's acting as Bruce Banner is what got this movie on this list. The HULK CGI wasn't as good as I expected (almost exact copy as the Ang Lee version) Without Edward Norton this movie would have been a bust.

Hell Boy II, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (Mummy 3), and Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull did not make the list because those movies are not worth watching in the theater in my opinion.
